A Day at the Ranch

Experience a day in the life of a traditional Mexican rancher on our immersive day tour out to La Huerta and Las Pilas.

We’ll learn all about…

– catching crayfish in the river
– how to milk a cow and use the milk to make the yummy queso fresco
– how to make some delicious Mexican staple dishes, including tortillas and tamales
– and so much more!

This small ranching community thrives on its heritage skills, utilising them to make a living, and honors cultural traditions from decades past. We hope to be able to give you a brief insight into these people’s lives and give you a day away from the little tourist beach towns we dwell in, in the winter season.
