Welcome to Flip Flop Nomad Tours
Day trips and multi-day tours of the Costalegre and throughout Mexico.
Based in Melaque, Jalisco, we offer cultural and historical guided tours around Mexico. Our departure points include Melaque, Manzanillo, and their neighbouring towns, as well as Guadalajara and the Chapala area. Our tours can be from 1 or 2 people up to large groups depending on your wishes, budget or plans. We have set itineraries for all of our tours, and they are all fully customizable to your timescale and wishes too. If you are in the country in the summer when there are not as many people visiting the area and want to travel then we can help you out too.
We also offer various travel services and are happy to help and offer any advice you may require during your stay in Mexico. As we always have been, we are open year round if you want to drop in to chat, plan a tour or just get some ideas.

We’ll be re-running our usual day tours and multi-day trips to the Monarch Butterflies, Colima, and Guadalajara, along with tours to Oaxaca, Mexico City, Copper Canyon, Querétaro and Guanajuato. We also have available our Ay Jalisco! tours, which have a whopping 9 itinerary variations, and our Michoacán Christmas Shopping Tour! New for this season we have the Tren Maya tour which will takes us to Chiapas and the gulf side of the Yucatan peninsula.

Our Office
We moved offices in 2020 and are located at Benito Juárez #38-D. We’re just a half block before the Villa Obregón square where the tianguis (Wednesday market) passes, and next to Casa Rosa clothes boutique.
Drop by and pay us a visit, as we have always been, we are open all year, below are our opening times.

In the Office This Year
As always, we have various products and crafts on sale from both our travels around Mexico on the tours we offer, as well as from local producers near us in Melaque. This season we look forward to having some of our usual products, such as those from Cuzalapa, as well as some other new finds! These include:
– Cuzalapa Color de la Tierra products, including dark and medium roasted coffee, organic honey, and jamaica (subject to availability)
– Artisan wares from around the country that we’ve picked up along the way
– Hand-made eco bags by a local seamstress
– Original design and branded t-shirts
– Locally produced seasonal food products from other local businesses
And much more as and when we pick it up!
