The day begins with a daily morning art workshop with Carla before the day’s activities begin. Then we will first take a short walk from the hotel to visit the Zocalo (main City square) where you will have your first sit down art session of the day. After the session ends we will walk down Madero’s pedestrianised street to the impressive Palacio de Bellas Artes learning more about the history of the city along the way. After the visit to the inside of the palace, we will stay in the area of the palace and the adjacent Alameda park for your 2nd art session of the day. You can chose to paint in the esplanade in front of the palace or inside the peaceful Alameda Park. Following this we will cross through the Alameda to visit the Mural House of Diego Rivera to see the amazing Sunday Afternoon in the Alameda Central Park Mural that was rescued from an earthquake damaged building nearby to preserve.
